Battery Disconnect & Power Distribution - Truck & Bus

Li-ion battery disconnect switches ensure EVs and electric buses remain charged while parked. Power distribution units that incorporate overcurrent protection, solid-state relays, and overvoltage protection devices such as TVS diodes also ensure reliable battery system management. Littelfuse delivers these solutions and others with off-the-shelf, customized, AEC-Q–qualified components.

DC/DC Conversion

EVs rely on dc–dc converters to step up or step down current from batteries. This block diagram shows the power conversion solutions Littelfuse offers. Our IGBTs and MOSFETs work with our gate drivers to ensure sensors, control modules, and dc motors receive the electricity they require. We also make diode arrays to keep noise from ESDs out of signals and thermal protectors to prevent overheating.
