Digital Temperature Indicators

Digital temperature indicators protect USB power delivery systems from overheating. The devices do this by exponentially increasing their resistance and reducing the flow of current when the temperature of a USB charging circuit rises above a set point. The setPTM digital temperature indicators made by Littelfuse are optimized to protect USB Type-C plugs with captive cables while handling the heaviest USB-PD loads.
  • Operate in a resistance range of 500 mΩ to 12 Ω
  • Maximum hold current of 60 mA or 75 mA
  • Trip current of 250 mA or 300 mA
  • Maximum voltage rating of 6 V
  • ELV compliant
  • Certified lead-free, halogen-free, and RoHS compliant
  • Eliminating the need to convert analog temperature data to digital outputs increases accuracy and efficiency
  • Compact design (2.2x2.0x0.6 mm maximum)
  • Zero voltage (IR) loss from resistors
  • Compatible with reflow soldering processes
