Connectivity SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors

Solid state SIDACtor® protection thyristors protect telecommunications equipment, data cables, and switching devices from transient voltage surges. Since the silicon diodes for alternating current get used in many ways, Littelfuse makes what we call connectivity SIDACtors optimized for specific applications. For outdoor equipment prone to lightning strikes, we offer high-exposure surge protection thyristors. We also produce more sensitive surge protective devices designed for use with subscriber line interface circuits (SLICs), line circuit access switches (LCASs), and broadband relays.
