A QUADRAC is a thyristor assembly that handles ac switching. Especially suited to serving as dimmer switches for LED bulbs, QUADRACs combine bidirectional TRIACs (triodes for alternating current) with DIACs (diodes for alternating current). Putting the solid state switches in a single device enhances a circuit’s noise immunity, improves efficiency, and simplifies circuit design.
- Available with 400 Vdrm/Vrrm and 600drm/Vrrm
