Semiconductor power stacks require external cooling to prevent component failures due to overheating. Littelfuse makes several coolers that use water to ensure IGBTs, MOSFETs, fuses and other devices in power stacks remain within their nominal operating temperatures. Each cooler is designed to clamp securely against a capsule-type or rectangular power stack without damaging the semiconductor assembly. Each cooler is also designed to keep water flowing continuously while a power stack operates.
