Dual Thyristors
Dual thyristor modules made by Littelfuse subsidiary IXYS control power in high-current applications. Common uses include rectifiers and solid state switches for ac motor soft starters, dc motor controllers, thermostats, and lighting controllers. We produce dual thyristor modules in many sizes and with a broad range of breaking voltages up to 2.2 kV. Each version comes in an international standard package and with a base that features high-reliability pressure contact technology.
  • Maximum reverse recovery blocking voltage (Vrrm) ratings from 800 V to 2.4 kV
  • Average forward current (Ifav) ratings from 18 A to 700 A
  • Maximum forward surge current (Ifsm) ratings from 300 A to 19 kA
  • Junction-to-case thermal resistance (Rthjc) ratings of 125 K/W and 140 K/W
  • Case-to-heat sink thermal resistance (Rthch) ratings from 0.11 K/W to 1.3 K/W
  • Critical voltage rate-of-rise (dv/dt) ratings of 1 kV/µs
  • Operate at temperatures ranging from –40 ℃ to +100 ℃
  • Direct copper bonding (DCB) baseplates and planar passivated chips
  • Isolation voltages up to 4.8 kV
