
N-Channel Standard

Standard N-channel MOSFETs serve as highly efficient solid state switches in high-voltage systems. Designed specifically to handle hard switching, these metal-oxide–semiconductor field effect transistors also work well in resonant mode applications. Common uses for N-channel MOSFETs include dc–dc converter, electric motor controller, and pulse generator for a laser or x-ray machine.
- Available with drain-to-source voltage ratings of 600 VDSS to 4.5 kVDSS
- Available with an extremely wide range of on-state resistance ratings, from 9 mΩ to 625 Ω
- Gate charge requirements as low as 7.8 nC
- Resistive switching times generally below 50 ns
