Very high surge GDTs provide overvoltage protection to sensitive electronic components. Littelfuse makes two versions of these specialized gas discharge tubes. Our SL1021B GDT protect broadband equipment, and SL1026 GDTs protect railway equipment used for wireless communications, signaling, and remote control. Both of the surge protective devices exceed applicable standards for lightning protection, and both are optimized for mounting on the surface of printed circuit boards.
