CBI(コンバータ + ブレーキ + インバータ)IGBT モジュールは、AC モータードライブ、太陽光インバータ、無停電電源装置、スイッチモード電源のソリッドステートスイッチとして機能します。MOSFETゲート制御構造とBJTの高電流・低飽和電圧特性により、高速スイッチングを高効率で実現します。リテルヒューズの子会社である IXYS は、トレンチおよびエクストリームライト (XPT) 構成の CBI IGBT モジュールを製造しています。これらのモジュールは 3 相電源入力用に特別に設計されています。
