Actuators produce the magnetic fields that Hall effect sensors detect and which reed switches use to open or close circuits. Littelfuse makes a wide variety of AlNiCo, ceramic (ferrite), and NdFeBo magnets in cylindrical, flange, rectangular, and threaded barrel configurations. - Available with retentivity ratings from 2.9 kG to 13.3 kG
- Available with coercivity ratings from 620 Oe to 10.8 kOe
