Nearing its First Year of Operations, Littelfuse Notes Strong Output at Piedras Negras Facility
Littelfuse marked a major milestone in 2024 with the opening of a new manufacturing plant in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. Nearing the one-year mark, the expansion continues to reinforce the company's commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction while strengthening its presence in the global industrial circuit protection market.
Doubling Capacity with Advanced Automation
The state-of-the-art facility, spanning 106,000 square feet, doubled the Company's manufacturing capacity in the region. Equipped with cutting-edge automation and sustainability features, the plant enhances production efficiency and supports a wide range of industrial applications, including renewable energy, data centers, telecommunications, commercial construction, HVAC, and factory automation.

Sustainability at the Core
Aligned with the company's environmental goals, the facility incorporates innovative processes designed to reduce its ecological impact. These include:
- Zero water consumption through advanced water treatment systems.
- Smart air compressors and high-efficiency HVAC to optimize energy use.
- LED lighting and safety relays for improved operational efficiency and sustainability.
