Air Purifier​s

A traditional air purifier works only as well as its fan. Electronic components made by Littelfuse can help ensure sufficient air circulation. Our solutions include solid state relays and ac switches for fan motors and microswitches for turning the flow of electricity on and off. We also provide overcurrent, overvoltage, and ESD protection devices for heaters, user interfaces, and displays.

Air Purifier Motor Drives

Air purifier motor drives cannot operate efficiently unless their electronic controls do. A block diagram shows which Littelfuse components can help a brushless dc (BLDC) suction motor perform optimally. In particular, we produce NTC thermistors that serve as highly accurate temperature sensors and prevent overheating.

Heater Control Boards

Air purifier heater control boards include ac power relays, ac switches, and fuses, A block diagram shows which Littelfuse solid state and overcurrent protection devices board designers can install to help ensure efficient and safe heating. We offer optically isolated relays, triacs, and fuses.

Power Supplies

The power supply for an air purifier delivers electricity to the LCD, fan motor, heater, and, depending on the model, ionizer. Ensuring the power supply operates as designed requires using high-performance solid-state relays, vibration-resistant fuses, and multiple forms of overvoltage protection. Littelfuse supplies all these electronic components.

User Interfaces & Displays

Air purifier user interfaces and displays should show information in real time and prevent electric shocks. A block diagram shows which Littelfuse products help control panels and LCD or LED displays meet those requirements. Our NTC thermistors sense and report air temperature, and our PESDs suppress electrostatic discharges. We also provide TVS diode arrays for overvoltage protection.
